Artists in Residence ‘23

The Black Library proudly homes four studio spaces that are given to local artists quarterly. Our goal with this residency is to give local artists a space and time to create and uplift their voices, as well as uplift our local arts community. We accomplish this by giving artists a studio for free for three months, giving them access to art supplies donated by the community, as well as hosting workshops and programs catered specifically for them to aid in their artistic and professional development. To conclude the three month residency, The Black Library hosts a group exhibit featuring the work created throughout the residency.
